Celebration
of Success
Saturday May 8th
2009
Christopher
Wellbelove, Mayor of Lambeth, Jack Cork, England Under 20
and Chelsea footballer (on loan to Watford) and Kieran
Kenlock, Crystal Palace Academy player, presented
Certificates to Kip McGrath students.
There was a huge turnout of delighted parents and students
to receive recognition of their hard work and effort over
the last year. It was an opportunity for GCSE students and
Year 6 SATs students to receive awards before returning to
the tough weeks ahead.
As the celebrities signed autographs and posed for
photographs it was an opportunity for parents to be
reassured that students had made excellent progress. In
some cases reading, spelling and mathematics ages have
increased by 2 years in just 6 months.
Christopher Wellbelove showed how he was able to upload
photographs instantly onto his Twitter page:
www.twitter.com/mayoroflambeth and later posted a message:
‘Really enjoyed meeting the young people - they are doing
great work and should be proud of their achievements.’

“Everybody can succeed. This celebration is a testament to
the determination and effort our students have made,”
Centre Director Andrea Redman stated.
How do we achieve this? Each student has an individual
learning programme based on specialized computer programs
with supporting worksheets and practical activities.
We provide support with all areas of English, Maths,
Sciences, 11+ preparation and essay writing skills.
